Come and relax for the weekend and enjoy our beautiful olive grove and cattle farm!Make yourself at home in the architecturally designed two story home. Feel free to walk through the olive grove and enjoy nature at it's best! (Just mind the cow pats!)Nobody knows the area like a local! Ask us for unique activities and delicious restaurants in our area.If you'd like to help us feed up the livestock, the more the merrier! Just let us know.Our farm is located at the end of Fernhill Road, within a few minutes from Wyndham Estate, Australia's oldest winery. Our farm is surrounded by other farming families and as such, has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.Poppa's Place is on the outskirts of the township of Branxton, but close enough to enjoy the free courtesy bus from The Royal Federal Hotel - which has a wonderful restaurant (huge delicious meals) and country atmosphere! Hunter Valley wineries are just a 15 minute drive, including Hope Estate, Bimbadgen, Roche Estate and Hunter Valley Gardens to name a few. We are happy to provide you with contact details for fantastic vineyard tour operators, or recommend activities that will relax and pamper you... or take you away from your comfort zone!It can sometimes take a bit for the hot water to come through in the downstairs bathroom (welcome to farm life!).Please leave your shoes on the mat in the front foyer (they need a rest, too!).House Rules:Please respect our home and treat it as you would your own. Pets are on application and please respect our no smoking inside policy. Minimum 2 night stay.
