The Jiang Village scenic area is located in Baidi town, which is 15km away from Chengde in Anhui province. Jiang Village has a well study in Hui culture, architecture style of Ming and Qing dynasty, as well as the Jiang’s family and their folk customs. The whole area is 9.2 kilo meter squared. Since the beginning of Tang dynasty, Jiang village has been there and lasts for over one thousand and three hundred years until the present days. At the dynasty of Ming and Qing, the overall population has been reached more than eighty thousand, was named as ‘Xiaohangzhou’ which means the small version of Hangzhou. There are 8 ancient shrine, where 3 of them have been well-protected, they are called:’Jiang family shrine’, ‘Pu shrine’, and ‘Ming dynasty filial son shrine’. There are also several Classic houses such as the ‘An Ran Villa’. Many architecture from Ming Qing dynasty and from 1942 to 1949 are the classic architecture style of Hui, which is very worthwhile for studying.The ancient Chinese villages also contain historical relics such as calligraphy, paintings and genealogy. In 2005, Jiangcun was rated as a Chinese historical and cultural village and a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot.
